Seven years building production web software. React and TypeScript at the front, Node and NestJS behind it when a feature has to be owned end to end.
I learned the web without abstractions —raw JavaScript, PHP, a database and a deadline— which is why I can build a modern React product and still explainevery layer under it.
My first years were agency and internal-systems work: hand-written JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS on the surface, PHP and MySQL underneath. Nothing was hidden, so I learned how a request actually travels.
Now I work almost entirely in React and TypeScript — component architecture, typed data flow, state that stays predictable as a product grows. I take the frontend seriously as engineering, and I follow a problem into the API whenever that's where the answer lives.
Investment-facing web applications in React. Typed components, predictable state, and interfaces that have to be correct the first time inside a regulated financial product.
Shipped client products across the stack — React front ends backed by Node services, with existing PHP systems kept healthy alongside the new build.
Returned to own internal business systems end to end: interface work in JavaScript and jQuery, application logic and MySQL schema design in PHP.
Built and maintained web tooling for internal operations, moving between the browser and the database as the work required.
First professional role. Learned the craft on real systems — hand-written JavaScript, HTML and CSS on the front, PHP and MySQL behind it, no framework to hide behind.
